In Memoriam: Dr. Wilford Winston Box 1935 - 2022
Uvalde, TX, January 12, 2022 - Dr. Wilford Winston Box, a longtime SWTJC business management professor, passed away on Jan. 7 at 86 years of age.
Box retired in December 2020 after 34 years of service at SWTJC. During his tenure, Box acquired many awards, including the Academic Outstanding Faculty Award, Faculty Association Teaching Excellence Award, and was inducted into the International Who's Who of Professional Management.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 14, at 1:30 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Del Rio.
