SWTJC psychology club attends seminar on anxiety disorders

The seminar, titled, Anxiety Disorders in Children and Adolescence: Recognizing and Treating the Emerging Epidemic covered key anxiety disorders and practical techniques that can be used to treat anxiety immediately.
Four outstanding dual credit students were invited to join the other club members. Two students from C.C. Winn High School and Eagle Pass High School joined along in the continuing education experience.
The dual credit students are responsible for presenting what they learned to their peers at their respective high schools. Collectively, the students who attended this event will also share the information through offering an information session at an upcoming City of Eagle Pass event named Save the Teens, which is organized for teens and their parents.
